Hi, I’m Prerna Joshi (a.k.a. Mini), the creator behind Mini.Happenings — a space where I share my love for crochet, creative expression, and handmade things that bring joy. By day, I’m a UX researcher with a background in Information Technology, Information Design, and User Experience research. I spend my workdays exploring how people interact with systems — and outside of that, I’m drawn to hands-on, playful forms of making: from yarn and ink to guitar strings, capturing moments on my phone, and spending time gazing at clouds, leaves, and little moments in nature.
Crochet started as a curious idea: What if I could make something cute and cozy for kidults like me? Turns out, it takes a lot of trial, error, and late-night frogging. But one winter evening, after countless loops and restarts, I finished my first piece — and just like that, I was in love. Now, I can’t stop imagining all the fun things yarn can become. I’m endlessly inspired by what’s possible with just a hook, some yarn, and a bit of patience.
This space is just getting started — I hope to fill it with patterns, projects, and thoughts on creativity as the journey unfolds. Thanks for being here!
